		<description>Hold the phone I understand Mortgage companies played a role and a major one but what about the credit card companies like capital one who gave a friend of mine 6 credit cards at 28% and hit him with late fee of $30 when the payment was $15 or the car companies at 23% and the car depreciated 20% the very day you drove it off.  

Most mortgage loans that low were based off an expected appreciation of the property unlike say a car where there was no  chance and 7 years on a car loan.

I understand there is fault in Mortgage but what about the U.S Government that funded these banks, should of let the bad one go bust and the good ones would have made it through.
